About Me

My name is Erlandrya "Landi" Rutledge and I am a May 2026 graduate from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in photography.

I am from Chelsea, AL , where I attended Chelsea High School and began my writing for the school paper, the Chelsea Buzz. At Auburn University I joined the Auburn Plainsman in 2022. I joined the culture section and became a culture writer until later transitioning to the news section. 

I pursued my photography career fall 2024 but have had a passion for  taking photographs my entire life.

I became the News Editor of the news section in May 2025.

I became an intern at the Opelika Observer in January 2026.
